1 Timothy 4 according to Papyrus 133 But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 through the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron, 3 forbidding marriage and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with thanksgiving. 5 For it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer. 6 If you instruct the brothers of these things, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which you have followed. 7 But refuse profane and old wives fables. Exercise yourself toward godliness. 8 For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now, and of that which is to come.

translation to the left is based on the World English Bible. Words in regular
black font are words in the manuscript matching the Majority Text for that
passage. Words
in italics cannot be seen in the manuscript, since the manuscript is
fragmentary. These words are supplied for readability by the World English
Bible translation. Words
present in the manuscript but with some letters unreadable or missing are in blue
like this: blue. One Greek word often is
translated into multiple English words, and when this occurs, all the English
words are in blue. Words
present in the manuscript but with spelling or trivial word order differences that do not affect the
meaning are in green like this: green. If
the manuscript is different from the Majority Text, words in the Majority
Text that are missing from the text of the manuscript are marked through in red
like this: If the manuscript is different from the Majority Text, words in the manuscript that are not in the Majority Text are underlined in red like this: new words. If the manuscript differs from the Majority Text yet matches another well-known text, this is noted in the footnotes.
